Exclusive: a project for a Netflix series on the Dutroux case

Steph Deschamps / January 18, 2022

The Dutroux case interests the streaming platforms. The latest project: a series on the unexploited investigation elements of the case, which could be released on Netflix.

A few weeks ago, at the end of 2021, an English production company based in London arrived in Belgium. This company set up its cameras for several days in emblematic places linked to the Dutroux case. Notably in the province of Luxembourg (where Marc Dutroux kidnapped Laetitia Delhez and where his trial took place) but also in Flanders, at the Belgian coast (where Ann and Eefje disappeared).

According to our information, collected from a good source, the production company would have proposed this subject to Netflix, which would have shown an interest.
