Jeff Bezos, even richer | Net Worth Space

The richest man on Earth, Amazon director Jeff Bezos, has never had so much money. His fortune has indeed risen to 172.3 billion dollars (153 billion euros), which represents a new record. This is what emerges from the 'Billionaires Index' established by the Bloomberg news agency.

The previous record dates from September 2018, when the fortune of the same Bezos was estimated at $ 167.7 billion. But then came the separation from his wife at the time, MacKenzie. Last year, the two of them found a $ 38 billion deal whereby Bezos passed a quarter of its shares on Amazon to him.

But in the meantime, Bezos has managed to overcome this loss. This year, his fortune has already grown by more than $ 57 billion, according to Bloomberg.

Most of his fortune, Bezos owes it to his e-commerce company Amazon. It owns some 57 million shares, or 12 percent, according to the American chain CNN. And the share price has already increased by half this year.

His ex-wife, MacKenzie, 'weighs' the rest at $ 57.2 billion, which puts her in 13th place in the latest 'Billionaires Index’.
