The famous Walther PP pistol used by Sean Connery in the first James Bond brought to the screen has been auctioned for $ 256,000, the auction house Julien's auction in Beverly Hills announced Thursday. The purchaser is an American fan who wished to remain anonymous.
Sean Connery, who died last October at the age of 90, grabbed the characteristic little pistol in James Bond vs. Dr No in 1962. In this feature film, the British secret agent is ordered to exchange his old Beretta for the Walther. The Americans in the CIA swear by him, Bond is assured.
