Disney prepares a remake of Aristochats with REAL cats: it's the return of Marie, Toulouse, Berlioz and their mother Duchess

The news just came out: Disney Studios is preparing a live-action remake of their cult cartoon released in the 70s, The Aristochats. A little special feature: this time, real cats will play the roles of Marie, Toulouse and Berlioz in their quest to find their owner.
The film, released in 1970, follows the adventures of an aristocratic cat family. The mother Duchess and her three kittens live a luxurious life in Paris alongside their rather elderly mistress. But everything changes when the butler discovers that the cats are about to receive his inheritance. He kidnaps them and abandons them in an unknown place, far from their property. But the Aristochats meet an alley cat, Thomas O'Malley, who will help them find their little home with their mistress.
The project has been entrusted to Will Gluck (director of Peter Rabbit) who will write the script, and Keith Bunin who will direct. Aesthetically, this remake should be quite similar to Beauty and the Tramp released in 2019. For now, no release date has been given, the project is still being written. In any case, we can't wait!
