X-rated actor Ron Jeremy, now 68, was formally charged Wednesday in Los Angeles with multiple rapes and sexual assaults on 21 women, including minor victims, the county prosecutor announced.

With more than 1,700 appearances in X-rated films since the late 1970s, Ron Jeremy was already the subject of accusations of sexual abuse within the profession for many years. He has been kept away from various events in recent years because of these accusations.

Under lockdown since June 2020, Ron Jeremy denies all charges of rape and assault and pleaded not guilty to all charges this Wednesday. I am innocent, he said on Twitter on June 23, 2020, I look forward to proving my innocence in a court of law! Thank you all for your support.

Last year, he was accused of raping three women and sexually assaulting a fourth. His arrest and appearance in a Los Angeles court motivated other victims to file charges against the 60-year-old.

Ron Jeremy is accused of various sexual assaults on a total of 21 women, ranging in age from 15 to 51, the Los Angeles District Attorney said in a statement. The oldest sexual assault dates back to 1996. In the release, the porn actor is accused of raping a 17-year-old girl at his home in 2008 and the sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl in June 2004.

But Ron Jeremy is not the only one to deny everything, then locked up at the moment and formally charged, his lawyer, Stuart Goldfarb, had also denied in block the accusations against his client, assuring that he was
not a rapist. Ron, over the years and because of who he is, has been the partner of more than 4,000 women Women throw themselves at him, the lawyer had even dared to assert.

Ron Jeremy is the latest of the entertainment industry's big names to find themselves in the grips of the Los Angeles courts for sexual abuse since the #MeToo movement against violence against women emerged in 2017.

Currently, Ron Jeremy remains in jail on $6.6 million bail. He will make his first appearance in Los Angeles court on October 12, awaiting trial. If he is found guilty, the actor could well end his life in prison: he faces a sentence of 300 years.
