Tesla recalls 475,000 cars in the U.S. due to technical defects that increase the risk of accidents

In particular, the company plans to recall all Model 3 cars manufactured between 2017 and 2020, or 356,309 vehicles. Opening and closing the trunk causes a risk of damage to the rearview camera beam, Tesla says.
Elon Musk's company is also recalling 119,009 Model S cars assembled from 2014 because of a faulty latch that can cause the hood to open.
Tesla has stated that these problems will be corrected free of charge.
