Shooting at a Catholic school in Minneapolis: the Pope, “deeply saddened”, expresses his condolences

Pope Leo XIV, “deeply saddened” by Wednesday's fatal shooting at a Minneapolis church attached to a Catholic school, offered his condolences to the victims' families.
“He sends his sincere condolences and the assurance of his spiritual closeness to all those affected by this terrible tragedy, in particular to the families who are now mourning the loss of a child,” according to a telegram released by the Vatican.
