A two-year-old child locked in a cage among some 700 animals. It’s the dismal discovery that was made in a house in Tennessee, in the United States

According to News Channel 5, the police were called in for an animal rescue operation. But when we got there, it was much worse than we thought.

Animals of all kinds lived there: snakes, dogs, cats, rodents, parrots. And among them, a two year old child who had been locked in a cage. The poor baby lay in the dirt in the middle of dung and cockroaches. A cage containing snakes was nearby.

In addition, numerous cannabis plants were found as well as 17 firearms. The parents and grandfather were charged with aggravated child abuse, animal cruelty, the manufacture of cannabis and the illegal possession of firearms.
