New bloody night in the United States: ten people injured in a shooting in New York, gang members targeted by over 40 shots!

It was a bloody night in the city, with 18 people fatally or seriously injured in seven different shootings.
In the Queens neighborhood, two hooded men opened fire Saturday night, around 10:40 pm. The two men immediately drew their weapons and fired in the direction of a barber shop, according to law enforcement officials, who say it was a concerted attack.
More than 40 projectiles were fired, hitting a group in front of this barbershop as well as passers-by and people celebrating a birthday in a restaurant.
Eight men and two women were killed in the shooting, authorities said. Once the smoke from the guns cleared, the two men got back on the back of the scooters that had dropped them off on the street.
All victims, ranging in age from 19 to 72, were transported to the hospital and are expected to survive their injuries.
As of Saturday night, the gun violence toll in New York City was 1,056 people shot in 898 incidents this year, a 12 percent increase from the 938 people affected last year over the same period.
