Musk goes wild and drops a “really big bomb” on Trump

While the torch had been burning for a few hours between Donald Trump and Elon Musk, the relationship between the former best friends of the world was resolutely spinning out of control on Thursday evening on X.

And the billionaire didn't pull any punches: in a post on X, the billionaire simply tagged the American president, explaining that he “is involved in the Epstein affair” and that this is “the only reason the documents were never made public”. In response, the White House simply described the attacks as “regrettable”.

Across the world, reactions have matched this turn of events. “The world's greatest fiction writers could not have conceived such a timeline,” tweeted one person. This sentence was subsequently re-shared by the main character concerned. He even added two emojis, one of them crying with laughter.

As a reminder, American financier Jeffrey Epstein had been accused of organizing a vast network of sexual exploitation of minors, involving numerous influential personalities.

Arrested in July 2019, he was found dead in his cell in August 2019, officially by suicide, prompting numerous conspiracy theories. The investigation brought to light potential accomplices and a well-organized sex-trafficking system. Ghislaine Maxwell, his mistress and close collaborator, was convicted in 2022 for her role in this network.
