In front of the television cameras, a mother confesses that she drowned her three children to avoid further abuse by their father.

It was several weeks that Liliana Carrillo was at the heart of a legal battle against his ex-partner, Erik. The man had requested a psychiatric examination of his ex-wife, evoking a depression since the arrival of their second baby, reports Paris Match. On March 1, he had also requested custody of their three children, aged between three years and five months. But Liliana Carrillo had requested a restraining order against him, citing child abuse.

On Saturday, April 10, the mother of Liliana goes to the apartment of her daughter, in a district of Los Angeles, and discovers the three children, without life. The police leaves then to the search of Liliana who is found a few hours later, reports Closer. On Wednesday, April 14, she confessed before the cameras of KGET-TV. I drowned them, she said, claiming she wanted to protect them from their father and an alleged sex trafficking ring. I didn't want them to be abused any more. I promised them when they were born that I would protect them. I hugged them and kissed them, before finally drowning them.

Suffering from depression and anxiety, Liliana Carrillo preferred to treat herself by consuming marijuana after stopping her therapy. Three counts of murder were deposited against the mother of family. The investigation is still ongoing.
