Huge chain-reaction collision in the United States: three dead and at least 20 injured

A massive chain-reaction crash in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania has left at least three people dead and more than 20 injured, The Washington Post newspaper reported Monday, citing local authorities. At least 50 vehicles were involved in the accident, which occurred during a heavy snowstorm.
 
The chain-reaction collision occurred around 10:30 a.m. local time on a highway about 140 kilometers west of New York City. Photos of the accident include burning cars.
  
The National Weather Service had issued a warning about snow showers.
