A teenager opened fire in his own home and killed three of his siblings in Alaska.

A 15-year-old boy opened fire at his home in Fairbanks, Alaska, killing three of his siblings before turning the gun on himself, reports BNO News.

Police were called to shots fired at a residence. They found four children deceased with apparent gunshot wounds, the Alaska Bureau of Investigation said in a statement Wednesday. Three other children who also lived at the residence are still alive.

The investigation revealed that a 15-year-old shot the three siblings and then killed himself. He was found dead with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, the release said, adding that the children's parents were not home when the shooting occurred.
