Donald Trump in court to recover his Twitter account

Donald Trump wants to regain access to his Twitter account and intends to launch a legal proceeding to achieve his goals. It appears from documents filed Friday in a Miami court that the former U.S. president would like a judge to force Twitter to let him back temporarily on the social network.

Another case was also introduced to return him to a permanent membership of the platform, according to the agency Bloomberg, which had access to these documents.

Donald Trump believes he was ejected from Twitter under pressure from his political rivals in Congress. The real estate tycoon failed to win the presidency of his country in the elections last November.

More than 88 million people followed him on Twitter, but he was kicked off the platform on January 8. Two days earlier, his supporters staged a deadly raid on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., in an attempt to prevent lawmakers from validating Democrat Joe Biden's election victory. Trump had repeatedly claimed on Twitter and other media that the outcome of the vote was rigged.
