U.S. President Joe Biden says he supports an investigation into the collapse of a building near Miami, killing 11 people and leaving 150 missing, so that such events never happen again.

President Biden, believes there should be an investigation, according to White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki. She said the U.S. administration wants to play a constructive role with federal resources to get to the bottom of this and prevent it from happening again in the future.

She did not specify the details of how the investigation should be conducted.
