After Taliban takeover in Afghanistan, Trump calls on Biden to resign

Donald Trump said Sunday that Joe Biden should resign because of the victory of the Taliban in Afghanistan, but also because of the mismanagement, according to him, by his successor in the White House of other issues such as the pandemic.

It's time for the discredited Joe Biden to resign for allowing what happened in Afghanistan, but also because of the skyrocketing Covid, the border disaster, the removal of our energy independence, and the crippling of our economy, the former Republican president wrote in a statement.

This should be a no-brainer given that he wasn't legitimately elected in the first place, quipped Trump, who continues to falsely claim to have won the 2020 presidential election.

The former business tycoon may have overseen negotiations with the Taliban to withdraw the U.S. military from Afghanistan, but he intends to blame the debacle of the Afghan military solely on his successor.

What Joe Biden did with Afghanistan is mythical. It will be remembered as one of the greatest defeats in American history, he had mocked on Sunday in an earlier statement.
