Apple Keynote: $3,500 headset announced, here's everything you need to know

Apple has taken everyone by surprise by unveiling an augmented reality headset, rather than a virtual reality headset. However, the experience will be unrivalled, thanks to technologies that are as unprecedented as they are cutting-edge.

Apple's VR headset could not have been conceived without the creation of the Vision OS system. The new technology offers a revolutionary three-dimensional user interface that makes digital content present and tangible in the user's physical world. It allows the user to control the space as well as move and adjust applications at will.

The Vision Pro is a revolutionary space computer that seamlessly blends digital content with the real world. The headset creates an infinite canvas for applications that surpasses the limits of a traditional screen (its ultra-high-resolution screens give the impression of being 30 meters wide) and introduces a fully three-dimensional user interface controlled by the user's eyes, hands and voice.

Every self-respecting virtual reality enthusiast wants to know the release date and selling price. The first piece of information is that the company hasn't yet announced a precise release date, but a year: 2024. The Vision Pro will be available "next year", so we'll just have to be patient.

As for the price of this revolutionary tool, it will cost a modest $3,499. A figure that underlines the incredible technology required to manufacture such an object. In any case, we can't wait to test it out on num.life.
