Outgoing US President Donald Trump has ordered his administration to begin protocols for transitioning to administration under President-elect Joe Biden, the Republican said in a message posted on Twitter Monday.

The outgoing Republican president refrained from directly recognizing the victory of Joe Biden by promising to continue a "just fight" while he multiplies the legal remedies, without success, to try to demonstrate fraud during the ballot of November 3 . "Nevertheless, in the best interest of our country, I recommend" that the government agency in charge of the transfer of power do "what is necessary regarding the protocols, and I have asked my team to do the same", a- he tweeted

CNN news outlet also received a copy of a letter from official Emily Murphy informing Democrat Joe Biden on Monday afternoon that the Trump administration was ready to begin the formal transition process.

Because of recent developments involving legal remedies and certifications of electoral results, I am sending you this letter today for these resources and services to be provided to you, writes the boss of the GSA (General Services Administration).

Please note that I made this decision independently, based on the law and the facts at my disposal, she continues.

I have never been the subject of pressure, direct or indirect, from a person in charge of any branch of the executive, at the White House or at the GSA, she specifies, while by insisting on threats against himself, his family, his staff and even (his) pets due to the delay between the announcement of Mr. Biden's victory and the agency's decision.

President-elect Joe Biden's team hailed in a statement a step towards a peaceful transfer of power. This move is a necessary step to begin to address the challenges the nation faces, including bringing the pandemic under control and our economy. back on track, the statement continues.

It evokes a final decision which is a decisive administrative action to formally begin the process of transition of federal agencies.

The document points out that in the coming days the transitional authorities will meet with representatives of US federal agencies to, among other things, understand the extent of the Trump administration's efforts to gut government agencies of their substance.
