War in Ukraine: new wave of Russian drone attacks in southern and eastern Ukraine

The Russian military launched a new wave of kamikaze drone attacks against Ukrainian targets Wednesday night, the Ukrainian military announced.
The drones targeted positions in the south and east of the country, the Ukrainian Southern Air Defense announced on Facebook.
Five drones were shot down in the Dnieper region, the source said, encouraging people to keep a 'festive spirit'.
The drones flew over several groups in the Donetsk, Zaporiijjia and Kharkiv regions, according to reports. Observers also saw them in the direction of Odessa.
According to information from the Ukrainian news agency Unian, several were shot down.
