War in Ukraine: 17 dead in a missile attack on the Odessa region

Ten people were killed in a missile strike on the Odessa region in southern Ukraine, a senior Ukrainian official announced on Thursday night.
The number of dead in an apartment building has risen to ten, announced the spokesman for the administration of the Odessa region Sergei Bratchuk.
The missile was fired by a strategic aircraft from the Black Sea. A missile hit a nine-story residential building in the Bilgorod-Dniester region, about 80 km south of Odessa, he said.
Rescue workers had initially reported six dead and seven injured, including three children, before raising the death toll to ten.
