The Ukrainian army presents its "invisibility cloak", its latest technology to protect its troops from drones

This cape, freshly presented by the Ukrainian army, could change the face of the Ukrainian trenches.

Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov shared these rather impressive images of a new technology that looks very much like an invisibility cloak.

Now, Ukrainian snipers and "SSO units" can use it to hide from thermal cameras and drones equipped with thermal cameras, as reported by a Ukrainian media outlet.

"It weighs just 2.5 kg and is protected from rain and high temperatures," it adds.

The cape, which is sure to resonate with Harry Potter fans, was presented by the Ukrainian army at a defense event in London.
