The horror near Berlin: five lifeless bodies found in a house, including those of three young children

Steph Deschamps / December 5, 2021

In Königs Wusterhausen, south of Berlin, five lifeless bodies were found in a house. Among the five deaths were two adults and three children.

The three children were 4, 8 and 10 years old. The two adults were in their 40s.

According to the release from authorities, gunshot and stab wounds were identified. Police believe it was a homicide.

Shortly before noon, emergency services had received a call from someone who thought it was unusual not to see the residents of this house.

Many questions remain, as authorities have revealed little information: it is not known if the victims were a family, if the assailant was one of the victims, what the motive for the crime might be, or if other people were present in the house.

There are rumors that residents were quarantined because of Covid, but this has not been confirmed.

Königs Wusterhausen is located southeast of Berlin and has 40,000 inhabitants.
