“She's a serial killer,” said Bill Fordy, chief of police in Niagara, one of the areas where the murders took place, which spanned three days from Tuesday to Thursday.
Sabrina Kauldhar, 30, was arrested on Friday in a suburban Toronto hotel.
She is accused of murdering a 60-year-old woman in her Toronto home, a 47-year-old man in a Niagara Falls park and a 77-year-old man in a Hamilton parking lot.
According to Mr. Fordy, she targeted her victims at random in Hamilton and Niagara Falls. The accused, on the other hand, knew her first victim in Toronto, authorities told AFP.
Police found the second victim in Niagara Falls after responding to emergency calls. He was pronounced dead in the park itself.
The latest victim, a retired teacher, suffered “significant injuries that appear to have been caused by stab wounds”, police said in a statement. He later died in hospital.
