North Korea calls Joe Biden weak and old man of senile age

Pyongyang openly supports the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, one of its few allies, and accuses Washington of being at the root of the current crisis.

North Korea has launched a violent diatribe against U.S. President Joe Biden, who has been called a senile old man and weak for accusing his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin of war crimes in Ukraine.

Mr. Biden has repeatedly accused Russia of war crimes, and in late March stirred up trouble by saying that Mr. Putin cannot stay in power.

Such irresponsible remarks can only be made by the descendant of the Yankees, a master of aggression and conspiracy, North Korea's official news agency KCNA said in a commentary published Saturday.

One could come to the conclusion that there is a problem with his intellectual faculties, and that his irresponsible remarks are only evidence of the recklessness of an old man of senile age, KCNA continued. The future of the United States looks bleak with such a weak man in power, it added.

It is not uncommon for the official North Korean media to attack foreign leaders with violent and even abusive language. For example, they called Mr. Biden a rabid dog who should be beaten to death with a stick when he was still a Democratic candidate for the U.S. presidency.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump was called spoiled and mentally deranged. The former South Korean president Park Geun-hye was called a witch and a cunning prostitute.
