Jennifer Lopez files for divorce from actor Ben Affleck

American singer and actress Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce in a Los Angeles court on Tuesday, two years after her marriage to American actor Ben Affleck, several US media outlets reported, including specialist website TMZ.
American entertainment media had been speculating for weeks about the possible divorce of these two celebrities. They had already enjoyed a brief romance in the early 2000s, before reuniting 20 years later. Their union, widely observed as “Bennifer”, was celebrated in Las Vegas and then in Georgia in 2022.
Jennifer Lopez filed the divorce papers herself, without the intervention of a lawyer, reports TMZ. This is her fourth divorce, and Ben Affleck's second.
The two had already been living apart since May, the US media reports.
