After cancelling its last two editions due to the pandemic, the famous Coachella music festival is planning to make a comeback in April, headlined by Harry Styles, Billie Eilish and Kanye West.
Dozens of guest artists in the California desert also include Phoebe Bridgers, Megan Thee Stallion, Stromae, Rich Brian, Doja Cat and Karol G.
Coachella, which traditionally kicks off the music festival season, could not be held since 2019. The 2020 edition, after a postponement in the fall, had finally had to be canceled, as well as that of 2021, due to the pandemic.
The 2022 edition is scheduled for April 15-17, then April 22-24, and organizers hope to run it at full capacity, hosting 125,000 festivalgoers each day.
If current health measures are still in effect in April, festival-goers will be required to provide proof of full vaccination or a negative test from within 72 hours.
Another famous festival, Bonnaroo, scheduled for June 16-19 in Tennessee, also announced its lineup this week, including The Chicks, Tool, 21 Savage, Roddy Ricch and Stevie Nicks.
The festival, originally scheduled for September, had to be cancelled after floods ravaged its grounds.
