Gunman intercepted in Windsor Castle grounds where Queen was celebrating Christmas: The royal family has been informed of the incident.

A gunman was intercepted Saturday morning in the grounds of Windsor Castle where the queen was celebrating Christmas with her son Charles and Camilla, reports the British newspaper The Independent.
 
According to the website of the daily newspaper, it would be a 19-year-old man from Southampton.
 
Members of the Royal Family have been informed of the incident, said Chief Inspector Rebecca Mears, quoted by the same media outlet.
 
The intruder was detected around 8:30 amby the security systems that protect the castle. He was intercepted before he could even get inside the building.
