Elon Musk: If the U.N. can say exactly how to eliminate world hunger with six billion dollars, I'll do it immediately

This week, CNN shared an article headlining that just 2% of Elon Musk's fortune could end world hunger. Six billion to help 42 million people who will literally die if we leave them to their fate, that's not hard, said David Beasley, the director of the World Food Program (UN), who believes that the ultra-rich should be more generous. He explains that many countries are being hit hard by the climate crisis and the pandemic, which prevents some humanitarian aid from reaching them.
On Twitter, Elon Musk responded to him, with a condition. If the UN can say here how exactly you can eliminate hunger with $6 billion, I will immediately sell Tesla stock and do it. It has to be an open explanation, so the public can see exactly how the money is being spent.
The CNN report was not accurate, responded David Beasley. Six billion dollars will not end global hunger, but it will prevent geopolitical instability and mass migration, and save 42 million people from the brink of starvation.
