Rescuers were able to extract a 42-year-old woman alive from the rubble of an apartment building in the city of Kahramanmaras.
Local media said Wednesday that the 40-year-old was in the rubble of a seven-story building south of the city.
Kahramanmaras is located 40 kilometers north of the epicenter of the first strong earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria on February 6. It is one of the areas most affected by these earthquakes that killed more than 40,000 people.
