The 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27) will take place at the end of 2022 in Egypt, it was decided during the COP26 in Glasgow (Scotland).

The COP27 will be held from November 7 to 18, 2022 in the seaside city of Sharm el-Sheikh, on the Red Sea. The city, located in the Sinai Peninsula, is known for its beaches and coral reefs. As for the COP28, it will be hosted by the United Arab Emirates. The event should take place from November 6 to 17, 2023. The COP26 ended Saturday evening with the adoption of the Glasgow Climate Pact. The nearly 200 countries gathered for two weeks in the Scottish metropolis decided, among other things, to reduce the use of coal as an energy source, to work to increase efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to double the climate funds dedicated to the adaptation of countries vulnerable to climate change.
