A particular edition of a book about the apprentice wizard Harry Potter has been sold at auction for £8,000, or more than 9,100 euros, the BBC reported Sunday.
This is a rare copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, the first novel in the literary saga created by author JK Rowling.
The book is from a limited edition, printed by the publisher Bloomsbury, on the 15th anniversary of the first volume. Only 15 copies were printed. In 2012, readers could win a copy by sending a signed letter expressing their love for Harry Potter.
One of the winners has now decided to auction off the book, which she has kept in her attic for all these years.
