Carlos Marin of the group Il Divo was hospitalized in serious condition

Il Divo singer Carlos Marín has been placed in an induced coma after being admitted to hospital, according to several newspapers. The 53-year-old Spanish singer is in intensive care at the Royal Hospital in Manchester, UK.
This announcement comes just days after Il Divo announced that its members had postponed their UK tour dates until 2022 due to health issues, without giving further details.
According to Spanish publication El Espanol, Carlos was intubated after entering the hospital, and although his organs are stable, he remains in serious condition. It is not known what the singer is suffering from.
Carlos' latest Instagram post was shared on December 6, when he appeared in a promotional image alongside bandmates David Miller, Sebastien Izambard, Urs Bühler to announce two upcoming tour dates in Dallas and Florida and February 2022.
According to the newspaper El Espanol, Carlos Marin was admitted to hospital two days later, on December 8.
