A terrible drama has unfolded off the coast of Norfolk.

A dramatic incident occurred this Saturday off the Norfolk coast. While in a kayak, a little boy and his friend struggled in the water. A mother, in her 30s, dived into the water to save them from drowning. Sadly, the mother did not survive her heroic act.

As The Sun relates, Danni was surprised by the strong current. Tourists and paramedics tried to revive her… in vain. He was declared dead in hospital. Fortunately, the two toddlers escaped unscathed.

A witness to the terrible scene wrote on Facebook: The poor children were watching and will be traumatized for life. I am completely devastated for them and want to help them as much as I can. I never thought I would see something like this. I saw it from start to finish .

A woman, in her 30s, was recovered from the water and was sadly pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. His death is said to be unexplained but not suspicious. As investigations continue to establish the exact circumstances which led to the woman’s death, it is a tragic situation and our condolences go out to her family, Norfolk Police said.
