1.65 million: the house from the movie The Goonies is for sale

Steph Deschamps / November 18, 2022

A movie that rocked a generation of children when it was released in 1985, the house from the movie "The Goonies" is for sale. Located in the Uppertown neighborhood of Astoria, Oregon, the house offers a breathtaking view of the Pacific Northwest coast. Its price? $1.65 million.

Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a breathtaking view of the city, it is enough to make you dream. Built in 1896, the house quickly became a popular place to visit after the release of the film. Such a success that the owner, Sandi Preston, decided to place signs forbidding the public to come on the property.

Now for sale, real estate agent Jordan Miller of John L. Scott Real Estate said he is in discussions with buyers who have been accepted for a mortgage.

It may be a childhood dream come true for its buyers.
