(You): season 3 is in the box! Release date, plot, casting, the latest news

 Steph Deschamps / May 2, 2021

Filming completed! This April 25, Netflix announced that the season 3 of "You" was in the box! Unfortunately, we still don't know the release date of this long-awaited season, but it should land at the end of this year. What happened in the first part of this year is that many of the projects that we were hoping to see released sooner were pushed back due to post-production delays caused by Covid-19, among other things. But we think we will return to a normal state for the second part of the year where, during our 4th quarter, we will have in particular the airing of new seasons of our most popular series such as The Witcher, You and Cobra Kai  explained Ted Sarandos, the CEO of Netflix to the investors of the streaming platform.

Some newcomers will arrive, including Michaela McManus (The Scott Brothers, The Vampire Diaries), who will be Natalie, the neighbor of Joe (Penn Badgley) and Love (Victoria Pedretti).

The series will also feature other well-known new actors: Travis VanWinkle, Shalita Grant (NCIS: New Orleans), Scott Speedman (Grey's Anatomy), Dylan Arnold (Nashville), Tati Gabrielle (The New Adventures of Sabrina), Ben Mehl, Shannon Chan-Kent (Good Trouble), Christopher Sean, Chris O'Shea (Madam Secretary), Bryan Safi, Mackenzie Astin, Ayelet Zurer (Hostages) and Jack Fisher. That's it!

On the plot side

Not much is known yet. At the end of season 2, Joe and a pregnant Love leave Los Angeles to start a life in the suburbs. Joe will apparently have a new target in mind: his neighbor Natalie. The beginning of a love obsession for Joe.

To be continued…
