The conclusion of the heist of the century will be broadcast in two parts.
Fans of La Casa de Papel will be happy today! Netflix has indeed just unveiled the first images of the final season of its eventful series. In the explosive teaser, we find the Professor, Tokyo, Lisbon and the others with their backs against the wall, while they are still trapped in the Bank of Spain, where they broke in to steal 9.2 tons of gold. Important information, the (second) most famous heist in history will be completed in two volumes of five episodes each. The first salvo will be released on September 3, and then we'll have to wait until December 3 for the sequel, and the grand finale.
When we started writing Part 5 in the midst of the pandemic, we realized that we had to get away from what viewers might expect from a 10-episode season. So we used all the tools at our disposal to create the sensation of an end of season from the 1st Volume. The producer and writer also promises a very aggressive style for these new episodes, in which we will find the gang in a very critical situation.
In Volume 2, we focus more on the emotional state of the characters. It is a journey through their states of mind that links us directly to their departure he concluded. As a reminder, the robbers have been locked up for over 100 hours in the Bank of Spain, where they also lost one of their own. They managed to save Lisbon, but they are about to live their darkest hours. As for the Professor, he has been captured by Sierra and, for the first time, he does not know how to escape. Just when things seem to be moving in their favor, an enemy emerges that is far more powerful than any they've faced before: the army. The end of the biggest heist in history is approaching, and what started as a heist will soon turn into an all-out war says the synopsis.
