Grease, the cult movie back through a new series: the casting revealed

Released in 1978, the film Grease tells a high school romance that takes place in the 50s. A romance, on a rock'n'roll background, between Danny Zuko (John Travolta) and Sandy Olsso (Olivia Newton-John). The series Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies is inspired by this universe but tells the events that occurred four years earlier, with the debut of the Pink Ladies, the girl group at the center of the film.
The shooting of this prequel began this week. And Paramount has released the list of actresses and actors who participate: Marisa Davila (Jane), Cheyenne Isabel Wells (Olivia), Ari Notartomaso (Cynthia), Tricia Fukuhara (Nancy), Shanel Bailey (Hazel), Madison Thompson (Susan), Johnathan Nieves (Richie), Jason Schmidt (Buddy), Maxwell Whittington-Cooper (Wally) and Jackie Hoffman (Professor McGee).
Entertainment Weekly shared the synopsis for the series, Before the rock 'n' roll wave, before the T-Birds gang became the coolest kids in high school, four girls on the bangs who have had enough decide to have their own fun, launching a moral panic that will change Rydell High forever.
