This huge sacrifice that David Harbour will have to make to shoot season 5 of Stranger Things
Steph Deschamps / August 1, 2022
Fans of Stranger Things may have noticed: for season 4 of the series, David Harbour had to lose a lot of weight... 36 kilos in total. In these episodes, he is indeed in a gulag and is not very fat.
My trainer@davidhigginslondon worked with me 8 months to make the transformation, and another year to maintain it during the pandemic, he explained on Instagram, captioning a rather impressive before-and-after photo.
And while he had sworn that he would never be seen again, it's not true: for season 5, he will have to find the same figure as at the end of season 4.
But he has come a long way because in the meantime, he has played another role that required him to gain weight.
Recently, I've gone back to play Santa Claus in a movie you'll see this holiday season, so I'm struggling to get back to a good weight by the time I figure out where Hopper is going to end up in Season 5, he explained further.
But it's such a fun part of the job to live in a different version of your skin for a while, he finally consents.
