The American actor Ray Liotta, star of the mythical film on the mafia Goodfellas, died at the age of 67 years, announced Thursday several American media.
The star died in his sleep, says the site TMZ, citing a source close to Ray Liotta.
The site Deadline also reported the death of the actor while he was shooting in the Dominican Republic.
In addition to his role as a mobster in Goodfellas in 1990, Ray Liotta was known to the American public for his role in the baseball movie To the End of the Dream in 1989.
He first made his name on the screen in 1986 with Dangerous in all respects, which earned him a Golden Globe nomination for best supporting actor.
