The actress Veronica Forqué, the Kika of Pedro Almodovar, committed suicide

The Spanish actress Veronica Forqué, who played the famous character of Kika in the film of the same name by Pedro Almodovar, killed herself and her body was found Monday at her home in Madrid, police said.
The 66-year-old actress, one of the most popular of Spanish cinema in the 1980s and 1990s, also known for her roles in What have I done to deserve this? (¿Qué he hecho yo para merecer esto!) and Pedro Almodovar's Matador, committed suicide at her home in Madrid, explained this source without providing further details.

R.I.P, tweeted actor Antonio Banderas shortly after the announcement of her death. Born in Madrid in 1955, she was the daughter of director Jose Maria Forqué and writer Carmen Vazquez-Vigo.
Making her film debut under the direction of her father in the early 1970s, she has seen her career crowned with four Goya awards, best actress (1988 and 1994 for Kika) and best supporting actress (1987 and 1988). She has also acted in theater and television.
