Sarah Jessica Parker has begun shooting the reboot of the series Sex and the City

Actress Sarah Jessica Parker could hardly contain her joy this Friday morning in New York City as she began filming the HBO Max reboot of Sex and the City.
The 56-year-old actress shared a behind-the-scenes photo on Instagram as she was getting her hair and makeup done in a chair for the first day of shooting.
7:15am, she captioned the photo, adding, NYC @justlikethatmax Here she comes. X, SJ.
While other cast members began filming on Thursday, Sarah Jessica Parker clarified in the comments section that today was her first day!!!
SJP is also very moved to have found her girlfriend Cynthia Nixon on screen.
So many feelings," Parker described after a fan asked if she was looking forward to it. Cynthia got into the trailer, I wouldn't let go! the star replied.
The actress also shared a sneak peek of the script for the first episode, titled Hello It's Me, on Thursday.
