Lady Gaga: condition of her dog walker shot worsened, he gives details

Ryan Fischer was shot several times in the chest, while he was walking Lady Gaga's dogs for which he was the guardian, this February 24. If the first news were reassuring, his health condition worsened.

The man had to return to the emergency room to have surgery on a lung. This Monday, March 29, 2021, from his hospital room, the dog-sitter addressed his community, which has more than 130,000 subscribers. In the caption of a video where he reveals his wounds, he wrote: Healing is not a straight line. I thought I would heal incredibly fast. In a matter of days I had gone from bleeding profusely on a sidewalk, to a hyperactive patient in the ICU, to waiting for my lung to heal so I could go home.

After the drainage tube was removed and blood oxygen levels were stable, the out-of-hospital healing phase, surrounded by loved ones, could begin. I was prepared to quietly embark on the path of healing from emotional trauma and move on. I would soon be back to a normal life. Unfortunately, the strange hissing and gurgling in my chest with each breath was not of this opinion. A doctor's visit and x-rays followed and soon after I was taken to the same emergency room I had been in a week earlier

The situation is serious, as he explains: Back in the hospital, my lung collapsed again, despite the new pleural drainage tube that was going into me. Then it collapsed again. And again. It was a surprise to me. It became obvious that my lung wasn't healing. The bullet had damaged my tissue like a burn would. It could take months for the hole to close, if ever I finally accepted that my recovery had become anything but a straight line.

Lady Gaga, who was able to get her dogs back after offering the sum of 500.000 dollars to whoever would find them, considers Ryan as a friend. The singer hopes that he will be able to return to a normal life soon.
