Kourtney Kardashian broke her $1 million engagement ring by stepping on it: 'I cried hysterically

Kourtney Kardashian stepped on her engagement ring. The estimated $1 million item is broken. On Thursday's episode of the Hulu series The Kardashians, the oldest sister of the Kardashian-Jenner clan revealed that she broke the engagement ring given by her boyfriend Travis Barker, estimated at $1 million.
In a scene from the new episode, Kris Jenner noticed that Kourtney wasn't wearing her impressive ring and asked why she no longer had it. It's being repaired, Kourtney replied.
She then recounted how the incident occurred. It was probably one of the worst things I've done in my entire life. I was sitting on the floor folding sweatshirts. I took the ring off and put it next to me on the floor, thinking it would be safe right next to me. Unfortunately, it wasn’t.
I had to go upstairs to my closet to get something, and when I came downstairs, I stepped on the ring. I cried hysterically in my closet for hours, then I called Travis. I said, 'I did something really, really wrong.’
But Travis, 46, took matters into his own hands. It really gave me, like, a nervous breakdown, the Poosh founder recalls. I followed up with, 'This is the most beautiful thing I've ever had in my life, and how could I do this?
The Blink-182 drummer played a very important role in designing Kourtney's ring, as Lorraine Schwartz told People - which made the reality star feel even worse after her faux pas.
Travis picked it out, he designed it, he looked at so many stones and I thought it was really special, she said in the episode.
In October 2021, the rocker gave his sweetheart an oval-cut stone on a diamond-paved ring. He proposed surrounded by roses and candles on the beach in Montecito, California.
It seems the repairs were successful, as Kourtney appeared to wear her ring to this year's Oscars, Grammys and Met Gala - which she attended with Travis by her side.
