Actor Joe E. Tata, known for his role in Beverly Hills 90210, has died at the age of 85. In the famous series, he played the role of Nat, owner of the Peach Pit.
It was Ian Ziering, also an actor in the series, who announced the terrible news on Instagram: He was one of the happiest people I have ever known. He was genuinely kind and generous to others. When we finished a scene at the Peach Pit, it became the 'Joe. E Tata show,' he wrote.
Joe E. Tata was suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
Originally from New York, the actor played small roles in several American series before getting the role of Nat in Beverly Hills 90210.
