In tears, Shannen Doherty, suffering from breast cancer, shares images of her radiotherapy sessions

In 2015, Shannen Doherty revealed she was battling breast cancer. Two years later, she was in remission, before facing a relapse, in 2020.

  

From the outset, the actress known for her role in "Charmed" has shared her struggle with the disease. This week, Shannen Doherty revealed images dating back to last January. "On January 5, my CT scan showed that I had metastasized to my brain," she writes, captioning a video showing her in the middle of a radiotherapy session. "My fear is obvious. I'm extremely claustrophobic and there's a lot going on in my life. »

  

You can see the tears in Shannen Doherty's eyes, as she continues to beat the cancer. "I'm lucky to have excellent doctors and extraordinary technicians. But that fear, the turmoil, the moment when it all happened... That's what cancer can be like," she concludes.
