Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins died just before their Lollapalooza Brasil concert and Grammy Awards performance.

Taylor Hawkins has passed away at age 50, as confirmed by the band's representative to Variety. His cause of death is currently unknown, but his passing was undeniably unexpected as the Foo Fighters had a number of concerts scheduled. They were scheduled to perform in Bogotá, Colombia, for the Estereo Picnic Festival on Friday, March 25, followed by Lollapalooza Brasil on Sunday. It was also just announced that the Foo Fighters were scheduled to perform at the Grammys on April 3.
Taylor had been with the Foo Fighters since 1997, playing drums on some of their biggest hits, including Learn to Fly and Best of You. He previously played drums for Canadian indie singer Alanis Morissette.
The band left a heartfelt tribute to their late drummer.
