The Queen of the United Kingdom has to face a new death in her circle of friends.

The British media L'Express revealed the sad information. Queen Elizabeth II has just learned of the death of Lady Mira, one of her closest childhood friends.

Lady Mira was 97 years old, says L'Express, and died peacefully. She was a descendant of Tsar Nicholas I of Russia and the poet Alexander Pushkin.

Elizabeth II had been able to count on the support of Lady Mira during the death of Prince Philip, in April 2021.

The mother of Prince Charles had to face several deaths of close friends in recent months. In December of last year, Elizabeth II lost the Duchess of Grafton, who was in charge of the Queen's jewels, but also Lady Farnham, her former lady-in-waiting
