Dolph Lundgren, interpreter of the character of Ivan Drago in Rocky IV, announced to the American TV to be affected by cancer.

It was on the American show "In Depth" that Dolph Lundgren announced the bad news: he has been living with cancer for eight years. So it all started in 2015, when doctors removed a tumor from his kidney. The Swedish actor was quiet for five years, until a new tumor was discovered. "They discovered another tumor in the liver the size of a small lemon," he said. Now the cancer has spread to his lungs, spine and stomach.

According to the doctors, he would not have much time left. "The doctor told me about two or three years. But I sensed in his voice that he was probably thinking less." He added, "I've had a great life. I've lived five lives in one. I didn't feel bitter, I just felt sorry for my kids and my fiancée. »

Dolph Lundgren explains that the steroids he took in his youth are certainly the cause of the illness. "We blame ourselves to some extent. I stopped taking them when I stopped doing movies where I took my top off in every scene. »
