Amber Heard forced to sell her house: the actress must pay 10 million to Johnny Depp and lack of money

Steph Deschamps / August 5, 2022

Johnny Depp's ex-wife, Amber Heard, had bought a villa in Yucca Valley, a desert located 200km from Los Angeles, during the lockdown in 2020. At the time, she bought it for 530,000 dollars. The villa, which is 228 square meters, is located on a plot of 2.4 hectares.

But the 36-year-old actress, who must pay 10 million euros to her ex-husband after being found guilty of defamation last June, decided to sell one of her houses to get some money.

Amber Heard managed to sell her villa for almost double its price, i.e. 1 million dollars. A nice increase in value!

After a long legal battle and a trial of several weeks mediatized, the actress decided to appeal the decision, her lawyers having officialized the thing. On his side, the actor of Pirate of the Caribbean also intends to appeal... An endless battle?
