A great man of music is gone: the Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto died at 71 years of cancer

Ryuichi Sakamoto has died. The Japanese composer was 71 years old.
 
The Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto, pioneer of electronic music and author of numerous film scores, died on March 28 at 71 years of cancer detected in 2020, his team announced Sunday on its official website.
 
"He lived with music until the very end," added his team in a statement, explaining that the artist had wanted a discreet funeral reserved for his family circle.
